16 year old Griffin McMahon performs Franck on the famed Dobson Op. 76 pipe organ in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dobson Op. 76 is the largest concert hall organ in the USA.

  • I believe that the Ruffatti at Davies Hall in San Francisco is larger but it is an electro-pneumatic. This si the largest tracker action one in a concert hall, in the US for sure. I think the Ruffatti sounds a lot nicer.

  • I wish I liked to sound of the organ as much as I enjoyed the performer. It could just be the acoustics of the hall but the reeds just aren't doing it for me; they sound too percussive... or something! I guess size isn't everything.

  • @gerardbedecarter yes indeed, listen to those bombardes

  • very very impressive

  • to the two naysayers: Franck had 32' reeds at the Trocadero!

  • This piece is very nineteenth century Gothic and you got this exactly. And all from memory too!

  • Hey wow .... magnificent [Have you checked out Franck's original ending, Griffin?]

  • i could sleep to this every night!!! thanks very much
