June 29, 2008 - In my book I talk about wormholes and how the "folds" we talk about in the Imagining the Tenth Dimension visualization are really another way of thinking about the wormholes that science has been theorizing about.

Hi! I just googled that phrase in quotes and according to Google that phrase has never been used on the internet before. So congratulations, you've just invented a new meme!

    You are all cool.

However, I have a question. How confident are you that we would have the same theories/laws/etc., if we dwelled on a planet of different dimensions, and different energy levels in relations to its star/glaxy.

I submit our perception on reality would differ, hence all this hypothizing is just that, hypothizing.

    ps.

... did I miss spell hypthizing

This is what we talked about in entries like Does the Multiverse Really Exist

    watch?v=9187JKkKxx4

    and Alien Mathematics

    watch?v=49sVWNYyqWk

A scientist in a universe with different basic physical laws to ours would find themselves hypothesizing about why their universe seemed so uniquely suited to allow for their existence, and more and more mainstream physicists are accepting the idea that there is a multiverse of other universes where this could really be.

    Thanks for writing!

P3: So if it is true, all the other dimensions to exit must have units of measure...so how do we measure the 7th and 8th dimension that are in the 9th dimension...The 10th dimension theory is an interesting way to see how creative the human mind is...although misguided at times...

    Thank you.

As it says in the original animation, the word that corresponds to length width and depth is duration. The now-proven Poincare conjecture suggests that we are a 3D sphere moving on a 4D hypersphere, and in fact that logic applies to each additional dimension, as each new one enfolds all the possibilities contained within the previous one.

You're absolutely right, we do not have words in our language for what the "measure" of a sixth dimensional shape would be, but it exists nonetheless.

Imagine the universe where they ruled out religion and everyone thinks logically they would be so much more developed o.O

Unless I'm mistaken a 4th dimentional wormhole would exist for only a moment of time, unless it was drifting forwards in time itself. That's my understanding anyways. :P

you just have a problem with labels. you may not realize it but some things in religion can tie in with science. but the labels will mislead you. like speaking another language. if you say "one" and i say "uno." does it change what we are talking about? the problem isn't religion, it's closed mindedness, unfortunately it exists in BOTH religion and science. if people learn to "meet in the middle" THEN more things will be developed. like better relationships with other humans for example :P

@10thdim /watch?v=8tX7KQSKMtQ Great animation of what a theoretical wormhole might look here here on earth, very trippy.

This series would be great if only they would stop playing with the silly video effects, and the bad music.

Seems to be whats going on. As if our higherselves are subjecting themselves to different senarios in order to attain information and abilities. I know it probably doens't make sense, but I'm pretty sure thats whats going on. Time is in a way... imaginary. There for, if you exist now...you have always existed and always will exist.
