German Mauser 98K

Sweet rifle Paul. I love the 98, I have a Mitchel's Mauser and I like it but I am working on getting a real nice one I just have to stop buying Glocks first. Excellent video, if you fire those old surplus rounds the have corrosive primers so be sure to clean your barrel and breach with some Muzzle Magic first it's for black powder rifles but it will neutralize the salts in the primer then clean it with your normal process. Great video, best rifle ever!

Eww.. Glock.. well to each thier own. I am a Springfield XD fan personally. I clean it everytime i shoot due to the age. I was told to stay away from Mitchel's. Heard they sell mainly pieced together parts..

It's not pieced but the bolt is made to match everything else is right. I wasn't looking for a collector I wanted a shooter and it's perfect for that when I find a good Mauser I won't shoot it, it will only be display the Mitchell's works geat and is fun to shoot. I have the XD40sc but love my Glocks I'm selling my XD to fund my Glock 21 purchase...hey at least it's a .45 though.

Well I had to find a happy medium between collector and shooter. Ya know the whole reenactment thing. If your going to have a Glock at least its a .45.. It is .45 ACP right? Not GAP??

Yeah .45 ACP only I'm not a fan of the GAP too hard to find ammo.

@emtffzartman Hey also looking to move to Pa. in the next few months from NJ any suggestions on towns to look? want to stay in the Philly to Allentown area but don't like Allentown much,Later man.

Well first of all if you need me to make a couple videos on how to use PA Traffic Circles, Pump your own gas and Make left hand turns without using a "jug handle" I will. Ok, Sorry I hate NJ.. and that was not even to mention the gun laws.. I live near Gettysburg. Its a nice area but is a long drive to Philly. I am not sure where near Philly is nice. I would stay away from Allentown too.

Thanks man some of those help the Jersey idiot videos would be great. I hate Jersey too if I left today it wouldn't be soon enough. I'm looking in Bucks county like Doylestown and the town of Nazareth north of Allentown. I lived in Philly in the Navy but I want to be out of the city. Mostly that area cause I'll still be working in NJ at first.

Bucks county is nice, I have been there and like it. I might just make a few "Help the Jersey Idiot" video's for fun. lol I hope the move goes well.

Sorry, I forgot to say that in the video. It is a 1941 rifle. The location I did state is "DUV' markings.
