Yes.. of course that was the reason, but as I stated if they wanted to explain it logically then I just gave a good reason within the context of the games storyline.

I wonder if these cut-scenes don't play well because there's a monitor somewhere, either in the background or just out of shot.
I'm also wondering if the developers saw this Let's Play and introduced that Room-o-Monitors just to taunt you, Hell. :)
