With 3D Analyze and Z-Buffering this might work pretty well, but I tried S3TC for this video and forced windowed mode.

At 640x480 16-bit color I should be getting about 217.6 FPS up to 250 or more, since at 1024x768 32-bit gets me about 85 FPS. Due to my CPU's limitations in the execution speed of this game, and due to the performance penalty from sharing memory over the same bus between the GPU and CPU, my framerate might be bottlenecked to around 100-120 FPS. Draw distance minimized and blit is enabled for the flipping policy to disable vertical sync. During this video the framerate was being limited to 30, even without recording though, I'm not sure why but it could be because of 640x480x16 mode.

Today I might buy my cousins eVGA 8600GT 256MB to replace my dead eVGA 8600, but it'll cost 50 bucks, and from what I'm seeing here, I'd rather play Vice City and San Andreas and save up for at least a 9600 GT than spend half the money available on a card I already had. Just saying.

  • This game runs perfectly on this stupid graphic card bcoz it SUCKS

  • @bryan332100 No, it doesn't. Games are purely about gameplay, and maximizing eyecandy is one of the ways that the focus is lost and games are developed into rotten, forgotten pieces of shit.

  • Wtf Dudes Who Still plays this and downloads it play gta 4 at least better than this and ever gta 5 is coming out

  • @MrSk8teboard GTA IV is alright, although it suffers from being too real. GTA V is going to be absolutely superb. I still play San Andreas, ever since I had it on PS2 over 5 years ago.

  • if i dont put the fps limter i have it at 1000 fps

  • @MrSk8teboard Give me this over GTA IV anyday, and no, I'm not kidding.

  • @THEolsy23ify Hypercam. I windowed Vice City using 3D Analyze. Great program.

  • @FrosDOwnz with what you recorded the screen

  • @Wackey2k9 There is no speedhacking here. What are you talking about? Anyways speedhacking only pushes a game to it's fastest executable speed, and the CPU is the bottleneck unless the GPU already was.

  • if you think speedhacks gonna make it better then think again !
