Lokar's voice actor was Robert Axelrod, who just happened to sign on as Lord Zedd in the following season. He was already doing Finster's voice and had good previous business ties with Saban by this point.

Even without seeing the original version, you could just tell there was more buildup prior to the transformation. But PR never got a Power Sword being thrown....I feel cheated.
