  • Thanks for the wonderful comments people! xoxo

    love you all! :)

  • Amazing performance by Lewis, very very rich character, too bad the real butcher bill was nothing like him

  • Ha, your so right! I've read the real book and he was nothing like that (in the movie) but DDL played Bill the Butcher so well, and deff. suit'd him well:) thanks for commenting!

  • Bill the Butcher is quite literally the best role in movie history, IMO anyway. DDL is also my favorite actor. I doubt I would have even love this movie so much, if it were not for him. Thanx for the video.

  • Daniel Day Lewis as Bill the Butcher one of the best played roles ever!!!

  • @mraberrant Ah no Bill-we swore this battle for warriors. Not miss-nacnies. And so warriors is what I brought.

  • After hearing all this vid...finally I'll die a true American.

  • why you putting like irish music on the video.... bill the butchers parents were both english

  • I'm always careful never to leave my hands on the computer when I see that scene 2:43

  • If these two actually had a fight at the end then bill would have won

  • i love him.he didnt deserve to die in the movie.

  • Beautiful! The most amazing tune I think I've ever heard! :)

  • Man this song when the army opens fire and the dead rabbits are preparing for battle was one of my favorite scenes in the movie

  • Where did you find this version of the song mate? It's a variation for the movie, and isn't on the OST for "Gangs of New York."

I am curious as I love this version much more than the original by Jeff Johnson and Brian dunning.
