My youngest sister, my mother and I stayed in the state of Michigan this summer with a trip to its very top: Isle Royale National Park.
The trip was very relaxing. Isle Royale was scenic and quiet. Only one issue arose: the rangers devil may care attitude towards my mom, who is in a wheelchair. The park is almost entirely inaccessible but rather than express empathy, the possibility of future progress or shame, the rangers told me and my mom that the "park was not for everyone."
