As per usual Thom is on target. It makes so much sense. The Republicans rely on empty rhetoric to convince the drooling masses that they are going to look after them. They bolster the rhetoric of fear and panic with terms like "War on Terror". They scream "Socialism" as a response to any legislation that threatens their corporate masters. They live and pray in C street and scream Pro Life and Family Values while cheating on their wives. Republcans don't feed them.

Amen, bozeman!! Republicans aren't to blame. Republicans AND democrats BOTH are! This isn't about parties.. the rich are the rich. and all people only care about themselves. It's only human to be selfish... and it is ugly.
