@TheOrazal west wants to see cuba fail. They did everything they can for it to fail. But you look at it today, it has a much better social system then most western countries. If they allowed the man to change things around in cuba.. no doubt that he would of. I honestly think Fidel Castro is a genuine politician.

@TheDutchGame First thing to get budgeted in the U.S in the time of great debt is social services. Castro promised that social services will always remain open to all people. Cuba isn't a perfect nation, but it does gleam like a diamond in a pile of coal when you look at how "developed" nations are turning up.

I always thought he was an evil dictator. But last night I did some research of him and Che Guevara. I gotta say it blew my expectations. Cuba got it right!

Fidel Castro as human being and a politician is better than most politicians in the west, who are dishonest and white collared crooks, I'm not a communist, but by far Fidel has lots to teach to the western politicians starting from honesty.
