I graduated HS in 1994 in NJ, and I also remember it didn't have NEARLY the impact on my generation as the death of Jerry Garcia not long after. Kurt is overated, and Nirvana was overated, period. I mean, they became the Foo Fighters for Christ sake?! LOL
