  • Sorry I misspoke, there's a new line of headsets w/ mics that go into the headphone jack, which are compatible with the 2g iPods but not the First Gen ones. It would be easier just to buy those then :)

  • hey i just thought id inform you that with the 2.2 firmware this mic DOES NOT need to be modded to work!! check my videos out for some proof

  • @bianca007 Right. I picked one of those up at the apple store in the mall, it was only $29 (list price online is still $79) I can use Google Talk and Skype! Makes it more complicated to explain to people, "no, it's not an iPhone" when it's getting a lot closer to being one. With apps like TruPhone and Nimbuzz and fring, a Skype account, it's an iPhone I don't pay a data plan on which lacks a camera. Jailbreak seems increasingly redundant!
