What viewers in Canada have to go through when trying to watch the NFL on FOX or CBS thanks to interruptions by useless Canadian networks.

  • This is defiantly made up by whoever uploaded this, Global and CTV are bad but not this bad. They wouldn't put a Canadian tire logo in the middle of a field goal.

  • I HATE how the CRTC simsubs all the US Nets. I love Canada (and I'm a proud Canadian) but when the CRTC pulls stunts like this, it makes me wants to pack my bags, and go move to the US and watch American Cable/Satellite TV there.

  • (Last Part)... so make more commercials! That would solve that problem... but make the SB commercials the exception because they are the main reason ANYONE watches the full length of that game LOL... and AIR THE WHOLE PROGRAM! There is nothing wrong with starting a show late. We in America do it all the time!

  • (part 2) whether the original content comes from the US, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, and I can go on (get my point?)... and I can also see the point of putting Canadian logos over American ones, but the film shows that it can go over the top too.

    In conclusion, Canada is right AND wrong... Canadian commercials are actually quite funny, but they need to make more of them otherwise they will have three ad-nauseums over the course of a show... (To Be Continued)

  • I dont see why the CRTC feels it has to do this... I am seeing this from both sides, however...

    On the FOR side: I mean I can understand how they need to protect their ad money, so my beef is not with dubbing Canadian commercials over American ones (except during the Super Bowl of course) even if it means the same old Canadian Tire commercial thirty times in three hours...

    BUT... the commitment of the content provider needs to be to honor your programming commitments from beginning to end.

  • In the US Virtual ads are against the law, if they put a flashing ad in the middle of a program, then the company that is being advertised can be sued. You guys should try and get Canada to ban virtual ads too.
