My mom owns an 06 SV6, and it is pretty nifty. It has power, (too much for my mom's top speed driving at 45 mph LOL). Sometimes I have to take her van out and drive it like it should be driven. The only problem - GM vehicles have an issue with the ignition. You simply turn the key and release, and it starts. Only problem - once every few thousand miles, when you release the key, it will try to start, but it won't start properly. Strange really. But this is a luxury minivan with power.

just bought[Canada] brand new silver 7 pass. pontiac montana today-luvitluvitluvit-gawd i luv it! hint: do like i did and trade in your gas hawg with the sewer pipe exhaust NOW-TODAY! you won't get diddly for it soon-guys; this gas thing is for real and here to stay!!!

Her SV6 was pretty nice. She has recently traded it for an 09 G6 to save on gas. So far - I think the G6 is more her style of vehicle. The SV6 is nice and roomy, has plenty of power, and gets decent mpgs for the type vehicle, but of course - the G6 (being a car) gets much better mpgs. I do advise anyone who owns an sv6 to pay attention to the ignition issue which I posted in my OLD comment. GM has now gone back to a standard ignition system on most newer vehicles I believe.

How much did Pontiac pay for this review. What a load of crap! Pontiac sucks. My Pontiac mini van sucks. Pontiac knows their vans suck so they stopped making them. Now GM is considering dropping the Pontiac company just like they did with Oldsmobile. Want a good mini van, buy a Korean or Japanese model.

my sv6 runs great the 3.5 liter is so powerful the 3.4 liter sucks i had the transport montana
