This is the song where Scott left behind his existentialist pop singer image and went deeper into that exquisite darkness. Though it was credited to the Walker Bros, on the album 'Nite Flights', it's pure Scott -- foreshadowing the direction he would take with Climate of Hunter, Tilt, and The Drift.
It may also be his masterpiece.
