@LomaxMcGee3 They probably just keep that shit in their room and look at it from time to time.

are one of the few success stories when it comes to the couple-within-a-band-thing. Again, I'm talking about long-lasting, creative/artistically successful bands with couples in them. The only other ones that come to mind are Low and Yo La Tengo, but with both of those examples, there have been significant band personnel changes at some point.

There's so much truth to what Kim says re bands w/ couples in them. The ONLY way it ever works out is if both partners in that couple are dedicated enough to the band, & have enough integrity as artists, that they can function as independent contributors within the collective.
Otherwise, it's impossible for the band to last: either there's a 'power couple' situation, destroying the band's equilibrium, or the couple brings its baggage with it to rehearsal, fighting constantly.

@desasterz this documentary was made for the 20 years (as a band) in 2000ish... They are about to turn 30 .... almost the entirety of the lost equipment has been recovered by now... (about 95%)
lol. Unless you're a guitar genius, why steal that shit? Not like you can sell it - you'll be found out. Maybe we'll hear from some experimental shoegaze band in a few years who have very familiar prepared equipment.

Forget trying to learn an early SY song. It's pointless. Try making your own song.
