In Chicago, last year, 458 people were murdered, 39 of them under age 17, police figures show. All told since 1991: 1,204 of our children dead by sweet 16. Among the victims was Derrion Albert, brutally beaten to death--a gruesome episode in the chronicles of Chicago murder. No issue is more pressing than saving our children. Photos and videos captured last summer by John W. Fountain who is currently working on a documentary on murder are set to the soul-stirring rendition of the spiritual, "Here's One" by Dr. Ollie Watts Davis, soprano; Casey Robards, piano and arranged by William Grant Stll.
