I would like to apologize to Neal Steele for misspelling his name .

This station meant a lot to me and many others in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia in the sixties and seventies . Although it ended as a sports/talk station , for the bulk of it`s run , it was a Top-40 station that played all the hits , no matter what genre . I remember announcers like George Crawford , Tom Scott , Dale Parsons , and Neil " The Real Neil " Steele . You could walk from one end of the Boardwalk on the Oceanfront to the other and hear WGH playing on all the radios on the beach.
