oh awesome. i was sad that they didn't include any of the old forest or tom bombadil, this makes up for it muchly

No wonder they chose to make this a deleted scene.  Having any refrence to Old Man Willow would mean that Jackson had alot to account for, skipping the old forest, the Barrow Downs, and Sambrog. That, and Putting FOTR and TTT chapters into one scene... Well the writers musta been on some good South Furthing or Longbottom leaf. :/
