****THIS IS A FAN MADE TRAILER****
This is the teaser trailer for a project I've been very anxious to do for over a year! No, it's not just a World's Finest project! Inspired by the style of Marvel's "The Avengers" build up films, this project is going to be just that except for DC's "Justice League".

This is the first "build up" film in this project. I decided to do Superman and Batman together for a few reasons. 1) There have been so many origin stories for each hero. 2) I don't think there would be much point to me re-cutting Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins" just to get the same point across. So I'm putting them both together as the first full length fan edited film in this project.

I chose Christian Bale for Batman for many reasons; I feel the way he's presented in the recent Batman films is very real and interesting and I love the amounts of directions you can go with Bale's version of Batman. I chose Dean Cain for Superman for many reasons as well; I didn't want to use Tom Welling because I wanted my Superman in this project to have the dual identity of Clark Kent/Superman and notably the Superman suit. Christopher Reeve was my first choice as he is no doubt my favorite actor who has portrayed Superman, but in the end there weren't enough scenes that would work for this film and then eventually a Justice League film. Last, Cain is my second favorite actor to play Superman and since his version was TV based there is more than enough footage, interaction and scenarios available to use in this project and ones to come.

Anyway, this is just a teaser trailer I plan to have a full version released soon. No date decided yet but the full film "World's Finest" will be released this February (20, 2012). I will have an official website up for this whole project soon [[www.theJLAmovie.com]] where you will be able to see updates on which heroes will be cast in my project, trailers, posters and HD versions of each film leading up to "Justice League" (working title). I know I didn't show much about the story in this trailer, but remember it's just a teaser; the full length trailer will have much more on that! (If you have any suggestions for this project don't hesitate to message me them over).

For the record I am doing this purely for fun, with NO intention of "fooling" anyone or covering up the fact that I used clips from other movies.

Footage used is from::.
-Superman The Movie
-Superman II
-Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman
-Batman Begins
-The Dark Knight
-Smallville

I used Sony Vegas Pro to edit this all together.

Music is by: Two Steps From Hell

This is an independent, non-profit, artistic expression created purely for fun and is in no way connection to, or endorsed by Warner Brothers or DC Comics. I take NO credit for anything I didn't exclusively create.

  • ...and I like all the points you make in the info description too.

  • @EditNinja Thanks for the reply man! I know a little fast paced the theatrical trailer and final product I'm already excited to release and they aren't even done! I just edited up a scene and it looks beautiful, if I do say so myself! Anyway, thanks again!

  • @LeviGOfficial Similar concept, but you need ripping software and a lot of times converting software.

  • @LeviGOfficial I don't download any videos, I rip them from the dvds I own.

  • @TheNextAvenger3 Like I said in the last "What If" video, I wasn't sure how well itd work out anymore. It kept having gaps in the project so I ended up closing it down. The "weird" effect is called "uprezing" it raises the quality of any footage. (The Lois and Clark needed it more than the Batman clips, mainly because HD didn't even exisit then.) I decided to try it out on the trailers and the movie. If it doesn't look as nice as I'd like the next film won't have it.

  • Awesome trailer man!

  • Wow! I didn't see Dean Cain coming there! A real surprise and I like it!

Very fast-paced video at the end but it's a great teaser!

  • @AListProductions Isnt just like taking a cd and ripping the songs from that?

  • how do you download the video to get it onto sony vegas?

  • Sad the fact that you cancelled "What if" but at the same time your at least making a project.

  • My god, amazing work!
