  • A lovely version of this fantastic traditional Irish carol. What makes it so good is that it is faithful to it normal Irish interpretation. It is presented as it was written with a fantastic melody and words It is one of the oldest extant Christmas carols in the European tradition and was written in the 12th Century and called "Carúl Loch Garma" i (n Irish "Carúl"= Carol and "Loch Garma"= Wexford"). It was written for only male voices and the beauty is the simplicity of melody and lyric.

  • Breathtakingly beautiful -- this music epitomizes the very best of Christmas. Every last detail is absolutely perfect and the high definition picture makes it all the more wonderful.

Thank you, may Christmas 2010 be the best yet.

  • The baritone soloist is Shane Warby, and on penny whistle is Daron Bradford. Quite shameful that the liner notes of the CD barely credit them. They both did spectacular jobs in this piece.

  • Very beautiful. I kept listening to this over and over again. Wonderful arrangement!

  • It is well...

  • @rr7firefly1 Another year has come and gone, and we find ourselves at Christmas 2011. But this video is a timeless reminder of what is ultimately important in the proper observance of this special day and season. May we all find inspiration in the best parts of ourselves and give joyfully to everyone we love and to those who are in need.
