and I would have to disagree with some of the people saying the he's wrong because I've heard very similar mambo played on 'Cal Tjader' and it works fine so :p

this guy has nice clean tones n can play but he does not know his rhythms at all,all his lessons are wrong but u can pick up on how clean he hits the drums

to all those who think this is a correct rhythm, you have as much to learn as this poor guy. take lessons from a real teacher and pro like giovanni hidalgo or poncho sanchez. please dont think any of the lessons posted by this guy are correct beacuase they are not. i know its wrong and i have only been playing for a few years.

No sir. You are counting this incorrectly and you are playing it incorrectly. The slap is on the "2" . You are also in error further. Please take the time to study this rhythm before trying to teach it.
