How did you like using the sprouter trays? I was thinking of trying those but didn't want to miss out on all the extra nutrients you get from soil planted wheat grass. I still might try it anyway, just for comparison sakes. :-)
It worked well. But if you leave them in to long the roots will mold. There are instructions on how to prevent that from happening...obviously I didn't read them =)
I got mold on two of my trays and it was horrible :-( I never even posted the vids since I ended up throwing the trays out into my compost unit. I really need more experience but that can only come from doing it over and over. Will you use sprouter trays again or you gonna switch to dirt?
Yes, I will use a sprouter again. I got good results and juiced All my wheatgrass in my vitamix. Since I'm the only one drinking it in my home I use a small sprouter "Sprout Master" I've had it for years.
Will you demo it with the sprout Master please? I think I might purchase one just for comparison to using the dirt. Trying to tweek things to see which method works with my lifestyle. How much wheatgrass juice do you get to drink from one sprout master tray?
Of course I'll do that for you =) My tray is small so I can't say how much juice I got bc I always diluted it in my recipe. I made a lemonade wheagrass drink. It was goooood. To me that is lol
