Santa Monica's BERGAMOT STATION opened in 1994. On its sixteenth anniversary, we stopped by to say hi. Point Man Wayne Blank mapped out the site's immediate future for us. Gallerist Mark Moore introduced daughter Catlin and their "Ultrasonic V" group show. We got caught up in Heather Gwen Martin's "Recreational Systems" at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles and damn near tripped over Devin Troy Strother at Richard Heller Gallery. And at evening's end, legendary Norton Wisdom slathered up the glass real good outside Robert Berman's C2 space. Just another day for night at Bergamot Station. We parked on the street. Can ya dig it? Produced by Paige Wery. Directed by Steve Cioffi.
