@captainzod Deluded freaks like you are the true scum of society, those who regard themselves as superior when you are anything but. Newton Stewart does have its bad eggs but what town of similar size doesn't? This IS Scotland, and there are many decent, friendly people in this place. Do not be under the idea that you are better than anyone from this town because of some bad experiance in the now demolished Riverside, if you got smacked, then by the smug sound of you, you deserved it. Nae luck.

I came across a common sense warrior like you at a dance class for my children. Someone who kept quoting "child protection laws". So I did extensive research.
There is no such thing.
Could you cite the legislation?
Could you provide links?
No, I didn't think so.
-
There's no legislation, there's not even guidelines. Permission slips are not needed.
-
You couldn't be more wrong.
There is no law against photographing adults or children. No not even fostered or children in care.
The comment continues
"Filming kids is the biggest pain, usually because someone, in an effort to divert attention away from himself, will yell "you can't film kids". I counter with "I can't see anything remotely sexual about this situation, you obviously can, in which case I suggest you get therapy"."
Please note that this is a quotation from a site, not my words, but I think the point is relevant - if you can see something inappropriate in this film maybe the problem is you, not me.

"There is no offence to film anyone in a public place. The only exceptions are in the precincts of a court or premises covered by the Official Secrets Act. So, nobody can stop you filming children as long as they're in a public place and not "indecent"."

Hmm, CPSU stands for Child Protection in Sport Unit. I don't think you really understand what you think you're talking about, however well intentioned you may or may not be. This is not the law relating to filming in public spaces. I also tried to post a link to a site which discusses the law on this subject and it was rejected by youtube, so what follows is an extract from the site.
