Jscottk001 Did you really write that? Because you think that the back of a supermarket is already unsanitary it would be okay to introduce any other containments that might be in those dirty cans and bottles this guy picked up off the street. Cmon we need a better way to recycle than that. Curbside recycling is the solution not more taxes on working people.

Are you guys effing stupid?
Or did Senator Bruno pay you to do this?
So you would rather have people toss their trash out and fill up Garbage dumps, have plastic bottles float around the earth for the next 10,000 years and leak their toxic oils into the food chain?
Obviously you have never seen the back end of a supermarket, as in you have never worked in one. There are lots of other health problems you should worry about in a back room of an average supermarket..fool

Terrible. How do you sleep?
Would you go streaking? So why would you trap recycling in an outdate model that actually hinders recycling and prevents sustainability? Its time to get recycling out of the 70's and start recycling for today. Step 1 Can the bottle bill. Bottles and cans make up roughly 3% of the waste stream. We need to focus on true recycling programs, such as expanded curbside recycling and recycling containers placed in conjunction with trash receptacles in public places. A bottle bill is just a tax.

Jscottk001 We need to work on better solutions so that we dont grow that pacific garbage patch. Bottles and cans are a small percentage of that waste. Siphoning off one of the more valuable scraps (aluminum cans) actually hurts recyclers.
