Dr. John M. Perkins has been one of America's leading crystallizing forces in Christian Community Development in the last several decades. Over the last 50 years of ministry, one of Dr. Perkins' passionate beliefs has been that long term stable community development grows strongest on the shoulders of indigenous leaders. A series of leadership sermons has been part of his core leadership teaching tools for community groups.
