Nion's Blender Experiments Episode 1

I wanted to do something different (besides the tutorials) and so I decided to show you some of my experiments and how they work. I hope you enjoy this and I hope that gives you some inspiration. If you want to be able to understand every single bit, a very good knowledge of Blender is absolutely necessary. This kind of video provides a huge amount of information in very short period of time.

help! when i render a fluid it render 44 frames with moving water, but after that it keeps making frames without moving water!

any help is apriciated!

@jipje44 sorry, I don't know what's going wrong, unless you haven't changed the amount of frames for baking. Sounds like a bug to me.

mhh for the first thing

i got the turbolence

but my object just splits up into faces not into "dots"

i have particles activated though :S

well you need to subdivide your mesh more. First I subdivided some parts manually which had less faces than the rest. Then I subdivided the whole mesh to get about 100k faces and I also used that particle amount.

How can I make a text emitting particels as you´ve done in your video?

press alt+c to convert it to a mesh

How can this be done in Blender 2.5, without the PAttr button ?

how long have you been using blender
