  • Hi Du, This is absolutely gorgeous! No surprise there, as I have loved your voice since the very first time I heard it! I hope you are doing well! It looks like you are! Best wishes, Lena

  • Can I call you 'Midnight Sun'?

Maybe it's because, 3 A.M. is that perfect moment to do ... A lot of inspiring things. Write a song, draw what's in our's imaginary... I don't know... Perhaps just contemplate these simple things in our places, like the ticking of the clock, the silent neighbourhood... Well, these things.

And right now I'm listening to your voice in my head as well... Singing 'Like a Star'.... So beautiful... Beautiful as the sun's smile for us in the morning.

  • Well, here we see very few things about Jose Feliciano, but he's at my knowledge base as well. I for some reason that only God knows, love 'Everybody Loves Me'. And his rendition of 'Light My Fire' is something really undescribable. But of course, he's not just those things. If is there anyone viewing this conversation and never heard about Jose Feliciano, please take your time and... See for yourself.

And about "my hands" and your head... See, nothing is impossible!

  • "Faltando um Pedaço" is a beautiful song and I can see why it's one of your favorites. And yes, I always think about writing songs because they are constantly in my head.

But if I had your hands and my head...I'd be in a better position to do something about it! Hahaha!

I'm curious about something, Edu. Have you ever heard of Jose Feliciano? If you have not...you should. There are a great deal of similarities between you two...especially your soulful voices. Look for him on Wikipedia.

  • Du, they say "if it's meant to be." Was raining here today & I was sitting outside with lovely raindrops hitting my face when your "Hello" just 'popped' into my mind. Honestly. Was perfect background music. But you were here today! Did you know? =) The power of music. That's why I love Youtube. Anyways, Du, it's once again 3 a.m. and all I hear is the ticking of the clock. What am I doing up when I should be asleep? My nickname is Nocturnal. Go figure. LOL. Talk soon, my friend. =) - Sunny.

  • Well, if I have to choose among some Djavan's songs, I'd probably be unfair. There are so much to press the repeat button of your music player. I have one of my favorits, though. It's called "Faltando um Pedaço"

It's so good to find that you have some connection with music. Have you ever thought about writing something and sharing it with the world?

  • Knowing you is a privilege, Edu...and I will always try to be worthy of it.

To answer your question, I consider myself a Renaissance man. There are a great many things I have interests in and pursue when the mood hits me, like writing, drawing, painting...and even creating music ever so often.

Like you, I don't read it...the melodies just come to me from somewhere. I don't play particularly well at all, however.

I heard Djavan years ago, and fell in love with "Esquinas".

    Simplesmente linda!

  • I hope this don't take too long to happen. I really want to know you. Now I just remember you every time I think about this and other Djavan's songs. I told you, he's fantastic! He's one of my greatest influences. I love how he blends some jazz and traditional Brazil's sounds into his songs. I know that some USA music schools even put his tunes into their guitar lessons. And he doesn't read music, just like me.

  • Such lovely words, Ilyakori. So glad you've enjoyed it. Besides, I want to thank you for us being friends.

Through these words I can see that there's just more beyond a simple comment. Do you deal with some art?

Well, about Sunny... Ya see, look at her name. She's briliant. I don't even think that "briliant" is yet enough to express how big she is. I love her.Nice to find that we're mutual!

Stay in touch. Thanks again for watching, commenting, subscribing and being my friend!

    Peace, Edu.
