I really don't see how they think this is helping her. She continually commits offenses, and is being let off. Who else does that happen to? Do average people get 30 days and spend 5 hours? I don't think so.

She committed a crime, she has to pay a price, no exceptions. You are continually re-enforcing her sense of privilege, and diminishing her sense of responsibility. That is NOT helping her.

@eric8542011 The difference is that Lindsey Lohan has been CONVICTED several times, but still let off the hook. OJ wasn't convicted of killing the woman.

Show me any famous black man that was CONVICTED to jail for a crime and still didn't have to go to jail. I'm pretty sure OJ ended up in jail after a while anyway. He hasn't been cut as much slack as Lohan has.
