The Curse of the Killer Trilby

A trilby hat gets struck by lightning... then starts killing everybody.

A very silly horror film we made for last Halloween that ended up lying in the depths of my hard drive for months before I dusted it off, fixed a few shots, then finally got round to uploading it to YouTube a year to the day that we shot it. Yes, we know you can see the strings.

Rated R for Ridiculous.

The best (and funniest) splatter movie I've seen! I really loved it. The setting is perfect with the drizzling rain, the lightning etc. Did you use a blue filter (=American night)? Also the technical quality is excellent. - What a nasty hat!

Glad you liked it! I didn't use a blue filter on the camera, but turned the daylight footage into "American night" in post production. Thanks a lot for the comment, Bernd!

I think that you should let the rain away at the beginning couse it looks pretty artificial when the rains goes with he camera! But now t comes - the decapitation scene was real great

Yeah, the rain's probably the thing that I'm least happy with. But it all adds to the crappy B-movie vibe! :P
