There's plenty of examples of professional sports figures offering their attentive services in times of worldwide crisis.
AP gives a pretty solid ticker tape of current news and keeps tabs on the sports world at the same time. Maybe you are right and need you something else. This big outfit is not going to change their winning combination because of a couple of concerns on reporting distribution of topic areas.

im not disagreeing with your statement that "Sports Generate Revenue" ...
i merely stated that i subscribed to AP for news.. not sports...
I dont care about who wins what , and what multi millionaire football player did this week..
I want NEWS, leave the sports to the kiddo's. (or the adult children, who are focusing on sports in a time of worldwide crisis...)

200 kids around the world will bet 10 billion dollars on a super bowl that costs 3 million to get a 30 second TV ad for and the "game" will generate 300 million dollars worth of revenue into the host community. Ah-h..kids.
We're talking one game.
Grit your teeth through the playoffs.
Your state will probably ask for bailout money derived from sports gate receipts.
My condolences to the friends and family of the loved ones lost in the fire also.
