neato!!!! I thought about making a video of one I saw. actually, I think i posted the pic on facebook! But, you know what? The one I saw was really black and really huge! Mabye that means we are going to have a very confused winter!!!

thank you for sharing the vid, it was so cute. anyway you know caterpillars or any other bug never make me sick, on the contrary i used to play with worms (but plain, soft) when i was a kid but caterpillars pinch you like needles ... as obviously some day i must have tried to play with one LOL have a great day :)

i had never heard caterpillars were toxic at all just that if you touch them it hurts !!! but all the ones i had seen were green, this is a cutie orange one! per what i read above they have sort of a change with time i.e. their maturity? good vid five* i love all animals and insects included xoxo

I never did either until someone said they were I looked it up and there not.I have always picked up caterpillars and the never made me sick!Thanks for stopping by :)

Is that one of those toxic woolly worms? I have no clue really but most often when we have them woolly crawlies type caterpillars here you can't go walk on the woods where they are because the hairs in the air may irritate your throat so much that you can not breathe anymore.

I looked it up they are not toxic.There is an old Aussie Fable about them being toxic but is is just a Fable!:)
