NYS Parks Lifeguard Competition

The New York State Parks Central Region Inservice Training Lifeguard Competition was held Tuesday August 4th at Green Lakes State Park. 17 teams from across the state competed in six events. Each 3 guard team had to prove their proficiency with events that emphasize skills required for lifeguards and reflect their daily training rituals and job duties.
