Cub scout Pack 3322 at its end of the year picnic launched ottle rockets at Hudson Springs Park. build a cone on the bottom end of a 2-liter pop bottle, wrap the middle with duct tape (1.5 times around, min.), fill with about 2 c. water, then "charge with compressed air. Pull the release for a great show. The biggest launch of the day probably cleared 500 feet and ended up landing in the lake.

I see some people searching the rockets for info about the cones: we used poster board for 2 of them. The camo/silver one, however, we bought a $1 wooden round bird house at a craft store, sawed off the perch and covered it in duct tape.
