  • This is a common problem... if the impeller was tethered to the shaft better maybe it would be perfect

  • @ajsullyvincennes having a different material would be better, and definitely a better job at tethering as you stated. the biggest problem is the plastic itself, it usually cracks and splits into several pieces.

  • having no coolant flow and blowing the engine is is fine german engineering.

    the composite impeller is fine german engineering! it impairs electrolysis

    you might as well put sulpheric acid in your cooling system if you want to destroy your engine ?

  • @vwtech5070 it also impairs coolant flow when it fails at 20k miles.

  • @subtledriver Excuse me but that not german enginering, but USA shit plastic pump. In europe we have just metal one and in european vw when they new you can found just mepal pumps mate.

    So before you put any oipinion online first go and check information about your problem.
