Dark Mirror
By Donna Lyon Rhose

Dark Mirror
Shadow she

Black, white
Intermittent grays

Awake, asleep
Twilight shifting

Who is this?
Who is she?

Images created
From inward musing

Troubled walks and
Slivered dreams

Day, night
Somewhere between

Dancing within
Echoing screams

Friend, stranger
Haunted memory

Glimpsing shadow
Touching mystery

Darkening whispers
Nightfall sighs

"I am, I am
Follow me.

Silence comes in
The mental roar."

  • I liked that. Great vid style. Really got me. Silence doesn't come with my mental roar though. Wish it did. Andy

  • Thank-you...

It was an interesting thing to do - I created the images first, then wrote the poem in response as I watched the imagery/vid through several times. Then I did the voice over.

  • You never disapoint, this is amazing.

Thank you again for another awesome upload.

  • It was a wonderful experiment at the time.

I hope I may come up with something similar in the future!

    Glad you enjoyed!

  • Yes...

    Sometimes she scares me, too...

  • She scares me....that's a good thing

  • I'm very complimented - thank-you!

I really, really enjoy your work as well.

    Blessings always,

  • Wow....

Very well done, rhosebard! The images were a combination of Clara Bow and Vampira...your prose felt like Madam Blavatsky sitting in front of a crystal ball...

  • Thank-you! & it's great to hear from you.

    Fun to see you hear...

I'm always trying new ideas - so just keep a watch out!:)))
