@cuttiepie00 Divine commandments like who is to be killed and for what is important don't you think? Still there are disagreements about that. How come? Shouldn't the "word" be explicit and not free to interpretation about such an important point? As far as I know christians also agree on major concepts like the divinity of jesus and the nature of god. Grace, I think you agree, is an immoral concept but they don't disagree on that issue.
we have muhammed his words is the highest authority and the book of god .. and we have so many people who studied and is studying the quran and sunnah to interpret it some thing are clear and others r not ..we dont need a pope to give us a key to heaven muslim relationship with god is clear if u obey him u go to heaven ..we have differences sure but we agree on the major things god is one we disagree on small things unlike christian who have different beliefs
@cuttiepie00 Point is that there are no higher authorities in islam as far as I know, like for instance the pope. Interpretations on any holy book don't impress me much since depending on the person you can get contradictory views. So I can only rely on things like sharia law or how it is lived to base my view of islam on. As atheist I'm in general equally against all religions, like you can find in any religion the crazies and the meek, religion enables both.
a great majority of muslim thinkers refuse this idea based on the verse in quran that says There is no compulsion in religion.
beacuse if someone left islam that means they dont believe in it anymore and u cant force someone to believe .. and if i mislead u in my previous comment then am sorry
@cuttiepie00 ...and how does that make the way muslims handle apostasy right? no, it doesn't? well, there you go. your "argument" is an ad hominem or to be precise a tu quoque and has no bearing on the point made.
Please go back to the Islamic countries and practise there, you urinate in the same plate from which you eat from!

What's the relevance between what happens in an islamic country an Great Britain?
Muslims in the UK are still a meager 1.5 million souls...
But they're numbers are growing, and fast!
