@Balian29Emo Yes, a stretch velvet. Quite different from normal velvet because it has a knit background fabric which, in this case, is a polyester blended with Lycra. It stretches across the grain and therefore has a great drape :) It's actually the kind of really cheap fabric that is often used for halloween costumes and stuff, unbelievably easy to work with! (it's like working with a jersey knit) but when you do it right you can make quite beautiful things out of it :)
