  • Nice video, what software was used for the animations ?

  • SLC & MLC stands for single level cell and multi-level cell...

    the cell structure is still single layered in MLC, but rather than storing a single electron, it stores a charge across the cell by injecting electrons into the oxide layer... the more electrons you inject, the more charge. MLC rather than maxing out the charge in the cell, only charge it partially. so a 2 level cell would need 4 charge levels (ie 0% 33% 66% 100%) ... each cell can now store 2 bits.
