Can Candida be removed from the body for good? Or do the "buds" always exist? I have been on a candida diet for about 9 months. I also had hookworms and did a detox from them. I still have extra weight around my belly and low energy. Any suggestions.

a doctor told me that too but thanks!

you probably have an anxiety disorder. Stress and anxiety can lead to alot of problems like stomach problems. Dosn't mean you have candia or parasites. You have to learn how to control the way you think and try and relax more and get your mind off your health.
Make sure you are on an H-pylori diet and supplement protocol. It is very easy for the bacteria to return. Retest by stool in a few months.Thank you for your comment.

Hi Jerievansnutrition,
I never seem to gain weight. I can eat anything and never gain weight. Everyone teases me that I have tapeworms. Is that possible? How would I know if I have worms or a high metabolism? Thanks.

Yes, you certainly could have some kind of parasite. Are you under weight? Are you tired? Are you having more than 3 bowel movements/day or lesss than 1? You may or may not have symptoms. The best way is to do a stool test for parasites and a parasite antibody test. The diet needs to be assessed also.

I have a cat that sleeps on the bed with me. Can I get an infection from her?

Yes, you can get infections with animals. It would be best that animals don't sleep in the same bed, especially if they go outdoors. Contaminated fecal matter can spread on the bed spread or anywhere they lay. All you need to do is touch them or kiss them or put your hand on the area where they were, then pick your teeth or rub you eye and then you are at risk. Be careful and wash your hands often, wash bed linnens and vacume.
