Washing Your Hair While in Braids/Micros.

8/22/10: Just watch the video on mute. Since the music seems to overpower my voice and no one wants to listen to Snopp Dogg. I don't think it does, I can hear myself just fine.

Since I'm so inaudible, here's a paraphrase of what's said in the last 4 minutes of the video:

"I had my headtie on for about a half hour before I went under the dryer.
I unbraided the 4 big braids, put my leave in conditioner on.
Smoothed out my hair, put my scarf on and sat under my hooded dryer.
I flat ironed the front because I wanted to see what it looked like but as you can see the back is wavy.
It didn't get the front, I took my blow dryer and dried the front.
The didn't have the hair in my hair color and the blond hair doesn't curl up the way I like it.
The front is frizzy because of the way I blow dried it.
I moisturized with the braid spray listed below.
I don't use that many products in my hair because I don't want build up and I figure the more crap you put in your hair the crappier it'll look.
Maybe my hair will get flat again after I put my scarf back on.
Now I have a clean scalp and fresh smelling hair. *sniffs hair*

This is how you do it so you get no slippage.

Make sure you have rubberbands, or scruncies if you prefer but I had a alot of rubberbands, a clear shampoo, and a container.
I tried doing it with the shower running down but it didn't really work.

@TheSamber21 (sorry about the typos before)...rinse out, using the same massaging motion. Squeeze (dont rub) braids in a clean towel to mop up excess water. Dilute conditioner and apply to your roots and the entire length of your braids. Cover with plastic cap for 30 minutes. Rinse, squeezing the braids as you go along, but never rub. rinse until water runs clear. Szueeze braids with dry towel to remove excess water. Apply your favourite liquid leave-in conditioner. Air dry. DONE.
