Yeah, I realize that comment wasn't supposed to go to you, but to my friend whose comments always manage to not stay posted, and thus makes all response comments look random and irrelevant. It's become sort of a joke among several of us, because nothing he does on the internets seems to work. Funny, however, that his comment was right above, which makes the response look appropriate given the context. Regardless, everyone knows the only proper response is, in fact, "What 9000?!?!!?"

Over 9000 is a reference to a meme started by Dragon Ball Z, where characters would use scouters to detect power levels. (Remember Wiki's "at least 100 years ago"? It's like that, but more 4chanesque.) Kind of an old meme by now, but still worthy given the context...
