09 2.4L lancer with the following installed: V2 RRM Intake, RRM Header, RRM Exhuast. Video doesn't do the sound of the exhuast justice. Exhuast has more bass then it sounds like in this vid, guess my camera blows. Also, the muffler has been adjusted so it no longer rattles up on the bumper. I rev the car around the 5500 to 6000 range both inside and outside the vehicle.

  • Thanks for the responses guys. I actually wouldn't recommend the headers. They rob torque from the low RPM range and transfer it to the high RPM range. This effects your daily driving experience and makes it not as fun to drive. The intake and exhaust are great though. The intake and exhaust probably added about 10hp all around. The headers another 3-5 but shifted to the >3500rpm range which IMO is a wrong dir for this engine.

I actually sold this car and purchased a 370z about 6 months ago.

  • that rattle you hear is the muffler hitting the bumper hence shitty install..lol and i hate the 2009 blue colours its too bright unlike the 2008 electric blue, looks like sti colour which is awesome

  • If you read the info about the video you would see that the muffler problem was fixed. I didn't even know the rattle was there until I made this video and watched it. It was fixed same day.

  • @dkr000theOne

why hate on Americans or anyone for that matter.

  • If your having trouble finding any level lancer in a manual just look near a military base. I live near ft Bragg and got every option I wanted. Most people can't tell the difference between my gts and a ralliart. Love the mpg on the gts btw. If I wanted Evo mpg I'd buy a N/A V8.

  • @ph1ly I had to drive to another state to get my GTS 2011 manual this spring. I can't imagine driving a CVT version of this car...where's the fun? Most dealers don't like to stock manual because the automatic is more expensive and they get a bigger cut of the sale. But yes..most Americans like to do other stuff when they drive (use their cell phone, do their make-up or eat like pigs) so the stick cramps their bad habit style. i wish all cars were manual...the road would be safer.

  • @swat305GINO why buy a car already tuned up it takes the tune out of tuner lol. and the turbo kit for cvt u have to add oil every 3,000 miles or else well you know where i'm going with this :P

  • @ph1ly cvt is better for drag race and it = more torque. My facts I talked to the dudes from RRM road race motor sports and they even said it can handle turbo but it needs cold air intake + inter cooler and low boost turbo so the cvt can handle it, And Something else he had mention to add with the turbo for cvt I had forgot but I plan on making my 08 lancer cvt A project car. and why get an evo and be some poser that just buys A car out of his ass and thinks his the best.

  • Lol, dooors open dude...!

  • what made you go with RRM and not the dc headers? plus with headers i figuered a high toned sound.

  • @sexymexy41 I'm sure you're right, but when you're stuck on the side of the road swearing and smashing the hood in, none of us Mitsu owners are going to stop and lend a hand (:

  • @ph1ly That's what I'm saying, the manual 2010 GTS's sold out and only the CVT's were left when I started shopping. It was bad timing... They don't use more fuel though. I just need to be patient, I'm going to get a ralliart after I save up a bit.

  • @cavaderblood thats unreal. I got a VRX (Aussie equivalent of a GTS), and they had more manual than auto. I don't get why people would want a cvt. They're MUCH slower judging by the videos on youtube, $2500 dearer and use more fuel. Different country different expectations i guess.
