...the bottom. Most amateurs try to use the right hand with a death grip and manipulate the club face to square at impact. Basically trying to control exactly what it's doing at the fastest point of the swing... 99% of the time the timing fails. Hence the over the top swings, slices, pull hooks, etc.
Watch some of Mr. Hogan's lessons next time before you tell someone they're wrong. See if the greatest ball striker's theory matches yours.

Themothmanreturns - that is completely incorrect. The less right hand you use, the better. Freddy uses an overlapping grip with his right hand... meaning even less control and focus on what it is doing. His grip pressure with the right hand is so little that you can actually see it come off the club through impact and release. Watch some slow-mo vids and you'll see it.
