  • This is indeed a much bigger issue as he says. And will take human cooperation, ingenuity, and willingness to put aside our petty grievances for the collective good.

  • Michael Franti is an excellent speaker who presents his views with logic and reason. I could listen to him speak or sing any day. However, he seems to not understand that the politicians offered hugh tax breaks, subsidies, and reduced regulations to the banks in order to see 5.5 million mortgages given to less qualified buyers. With few exceptions, the banks played within the rules. This avoidable crisis was created by politicians, now glad the focus is on Wall Street instead of Capitol Hill.

  • thats the thing how much can a Protest stay peaceful when cops are busting up the Occupation with mace spray and arresting 700 people . Just so they can play the big boys in town. Just to play bad cop, bad cop. there is no good cop. stand strong stand Proud and fight the fucked up corporations and corruption.. dont stop at wall street , carry on fight goldman sachs . Halliburton, fight the fucking power man .

  • I don't think it's the right approach to defend that "not all bankers are evil". I'd rather say that "in general, it's better to have banks than to not have banks, but when they get this much power, the only logical result is evil and corruption."

  • soon forward

  • Excellent cinematography! Good message too!

  • @getgroundedtv Bernie Glassman whose ideas he is basing the article on is a very wise guy I'm a big fan of. Interesting ideas. I'll send a private message with the link as YT won't let me post it in a comment.
