I have loved this song since the first time I heard it. It's a pity the pulpit thumping evangelicals cannot just let something be that they disagree with. If they're so secure in their f8h, then why are they so defensive? God bless Bobby McFerrin.

@bomaroast How about you go research goddess worship, the Ba'als, & WHY the Israelites were severely punished before you comment. 1st of all, Aramaic has absolutely nothing to do with this - the Masoretic is in HEBREW. 2nd, The G-D of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, the ONLY G-D (there are so many false ones that I have to qualify WHO I'm speaking of) NEVER presents Himself as a female. This corruption of His Word is a bunch of unbiblical, feminist, mumbo-jumbo. S I G H . As I said, beautiful singing.
