Recorded at white frog studio, using a rode NT4 into a Sony digital 8 camera (audio input on the camera overloaded a smidge). The mic is stereo so this video is best viewed in high quality. From the album 'the land on either side' available on iTunes and from CD Baby. Hear full album versions at www.faithfulnarrator.com or www.myspace.com/faithfulnarrator. Lyrics:
Are you one, with the core fabric
Are you pulled, do you pull on
Is your mass a control plastic
Do you shine, or reflect on

One eye to the skies
Look for the spark as it goes by
You're not of that kind, you're not so bright
You tell the stars, from satellites
You tell the stars, from satellites

If you went, would the world miss you
Gravity, has it's own way
Is your name, all you have in you
Massive fame, is a light weight

One eye to the skies
Look for the spark as it goes by
You're not of that kind, you're not so bright
You tell the stars, from satellites
You tell the stars, from satellites
You tell the stars, from satellites
You tell the stars, from satellites

If you move then we're coming
Summon, we will go
And where you lead we will follow
Although we don't know
And beyond your horizon
We're rising, we are rising
If you move we feel nothing, nothing

You tell the stars, from satellites
You tell the stars, from satellites
You tell the stars, from satellites
You tell the stars, from satellites

  • thanks for the comment. yeah, it's just an NT4 into a really old digital tape camera (with firewire, before it was firewire), hence the overloading (i couldnt figulre out a way to adjust the input gain). Appreciate the feedback.

  • Nice work to u all , this was just one NT4 ? Sounds great , was it right into the cam ? Is alittle too hot , but overall its pretty amazing .
