  • The 17 only holds 18 pallets dummy!

  • @BostonBilldowd well dummy you seem to think that all pallets are the same size. You stop the video and count the number of pallets of food and water. I count a lot more than 18. Plus it was the military that gave that number, so I take thier word for it.

  • @3rdID8487 The mix up is understandable. Pallets don't vary in lengths and and aren't airdropped. Platforms are used for airdrops. BostonBilldowd isn't a dummy and you aren't wrong. He isn't a dummy because that 18 pallet limitation is actually true but the thing is that those are bundles being airdropped not platforms or pallets and we can carry alot more of those. I am not an 17 Loadmaster btw I'm on the c-130.

  • @GodsLastSin I should not have called him Dummy and I am sorry about that, BB I apologize. I am better than that. And your adult explanation makes me sorry for my rash comments. Thank you so much for clarifying the comments and information. I will try to refrain from that in the future.

  • @TheAntiZynar the airforce clearly lol

  • @BostonBilldowd yes that is true...we can carry up to 18 pallets in the logistics configuation for airland operations. however, that number is with normal 88x108 pallets. but airdrop for CDS containers (aka bundles) the dimentions are only 36x36 ...meaning we can carry and airdrop up to 40 bundles. if you don't believe me, you should...considering i'm a C-17 airdrop loadnaster.

  • It's so cool seeing these aircraft actually in action. You see them overhead flying all the time, but to see them deployed is sweet.

  • @astropop2 That's not even a fucking C-130, newfag.
