The intensely busy and chaotic environment of a concert's backstage isnt the most usual place to wait for a date, yet a girl (Lisa Surihani) waits patiently for hers. Constantly bumped into by stagehands and celebrities alike, she bides her time for a guy she hardly knows.
This is a story of the awkward beginnings of a couple in the search for love and the questions that come along with it. Does he really like me? Is he just a hot shot manager or is he also cool to chill with? And when will these pesky celebrities stop getting in the way?! Project Pop is the film that bravely attempts to answer them.
